The Chiefland Area Athletic Association's Senior Indians football team ran into more than it could handle in the semifinals of the Memorial Bowl in Lake City.
The local group of 10-12 year olds suffered their first loss of the season, falling to the Madison Bulldogs, 24-0.
The Senior Indians finish the season with a record of 8-1.
"We were outmanned," said Chiefland coach Dave Weatherford. "They were very quick and pretty big. They had seven 13-year-olds. We fumbled the ball away three times."
The finals of the Memorial Bowl are this Saturday.
