As of July 1, the following salaries were established by the state for the constitutional officers, county commissioners and school board members for Levy County. The school salaries were effective July 1, the constitutional officers and county officials' salaries are effective Oct. 1:

The figures are based on a county population of 40,767 and other factors established by the state Legislature.

The constitutional, county and school officials do not have to take their full salaries. Under state law they can choose to voluntarily reduce them.
