Two Chiefland women selected for contest

   The Florida Watermelon Association announced recently that Erica Leigh Drummond, 18, of Tallahassee, and Rachel Danielle Kee, 20, of Chiefland, have been selected as contestants for Florida Watermelon Queen.
   Drummond is the daughter of Dwayne and Debbie Drummond. Kee is the daughter of Lorraine Martin. Both will join an elite group of young women, ages 18 to 23, from throughout Florida to compete for the state title.
   The competition will be from March 25 – 27 during the 43rd Annual Florida Watermelon Convention, in Orlando, at the Renaissance Orlando Sea World.
