Trevis Prince’s youth hit songwriting workshop at Bronson library

A free songwriting workshop with Trevis Prince will be held at the Bronson Public Library on May 30 at 6 p.m.
Students will be introduced to fundamental techniques behind today’s hit songs with easy and fun to follow exercises. The songwriting workshop offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the art of songwriting at any level. The Friends of the Bronson Public Library will be providing free pizza and drinks after the workshop. Seats are limited so please call the library to reserve your spot today.
   Students will be introduced to: basic melody structure and pattern, tempo, music measure, rhythm, timing, songwriting structure & patterns, lyric choice, creative thinking and music history.
   The workshop is suggested for middle school and high school students, but ambitious and focused elementary school students are welcome.
