A Saturday robbery at the Tackle Box in Fanning Springs might have a clerk questioning the cost of good customer service.
The clerk, according to the Levy County Sheriff's Office, had just locked the front door to tend to business in the back of the store when he heard someone at the front door. He let the man in and went around the counter to serve him.
The man followed the clerk and said he needed cigarettes, according to LCSO. The clerk told him to remain on the opposite side of the counter, but the man responded by pushing the clerk and putting his right hand under his shirt as if he had a weapon.  The suspect had the clerk open the register and the man removed an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a clean-shaven white male, approximately 5 feet seven inches tall, weighing 140-150 pounds, with short reddish to light color hair.  He was wearing a sleeveless white shirt and white and black plaid shorts.  He left north on U.S. Highway 19 in a white extended cab pickup truck.
Anyone who has information on this incident is asked to call Investigator Mike Bell at 352-486-5111.
