Readers sound off on Social Security, atheism and more

Saving babies saves Social Security

It is reported that in 2033 Social Security will be bankrupt. It takes 16 working people to keep one person’s checks coming. Guess where 300,000 a year of that workforce goes? Aborted by Planned Parenthood so the parts can be sold. That is viewing the carnage from the financial point.

Now from a humanistic perspective. Didn’t those babies deserve to live? They talk about women’s rights. Allowed to live many of them would be women. Anyone who kills or injures an animal can serve time for the crime, yet a human baby’s heart can be stopped for financial gain.

Consider what has been happening in the U.S. and worldwide, not the Mother Nature storms but described as historic, never before, of biblical proportions, and not since we began keeping records.

They are describing floods, fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, and snow storms, called relentless.

In biblical days, when Israel turned away from God, he allowed the countries to take possession of them. When they repented and turned back to Him, he not only forgave them but he healed their land.
