Letter: Keep an eye out for danger

There are things that we all don't like to here. Especially when its the bad things that we pretend aren't there.

Every parent has the same fear, of their child being hurt or in danger when were not there . We as parents know we will protect them and always give them proper care .

Most parents have left their child with a sitter, more than likely a family member or close friend that they trust with their kids. We would never put our children in harm's way. With all good intentions we believe no one we choose to watch our kids would ever hurt the them in a bad way.

There is something that we as parents don't really think about when it comes to people we are around everyday. We trust easily because of knowing them we automatically assume they are okay because we see how they act and maybe they are your family so we think it's okay. I am a parent that is guilty of the same.

I trusted but ended up with my 2-year-old getting molested. Yes, it went on awhile before I even knew it. This is something that happens all the time and majority of the parents don't even know it!
