Florida storytellers perform at CK arts fest

-A A +A

Two experienced and entertaining storytellers – Bob Patterson and Kaye Byrnes – will join the great artists, heart stickers, food and fun at this weekend's Cedar Key arts festival.

They will perform at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Cedar Key City Park, for visitors to the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts Festival.

Both are long-time veterans of the Florida Storytelling Association and entertain and educate with storytelling throughout the state at schools, businesses, events, concerts and now at the Cedar Key Arts Festival.

Bob Patterson tells enchanting tales about Old Florida and its wild rivers, accompanied by a 12-string guitar.

Kaye Byrnes mixes folk with fairy and fable tales to spin a yarn that will make you laugh and think.
