Fish fry for Alford family

The Robinson Family, owners of Robinson's Seafood, is hosting a fish fry on Monday, Feb. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the restaurant at 6991 S.W. State Road 24  to benefit the family of John Fredderick “Johnny” Alford, who died in a hunting accident on Jan. 19. 

The menu is fried mullet and all the fixings, including cheese grits, hush puppies, french fries and tea and costs $8. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door at Robinson Seafood. 

 All proceeds will go to the Alford family, including his wife of 42 years, Cynthia.

Raffle tickets are available for a fishing trip for two with Capt. Robinson and cost $5 each. 

Alford was killed in an accidental shooting while hunting for hogs with a juvenile companion on private property in Rosewood on Jan. 19.
