n Family Bible hosts
Homeward Bound
The Family Bible Chapel, located at 12 N. Main St., Chiefland, will host "Homeward Bound" on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 10:30 a.m. If you are a fan of Gospel music, this is the group to hear.

n Community movie
night at First Baptist
First Baptist Church of Chiefland will host a community movie night on Sunday, March 4, at 6 p.m. with a free showing of "Courageous." The movie focuses on four law enforcement officers — Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson and Shane Fuller, who struggle to meet the challenges of fatherhood.

n Lenten Schedule
at Peace Lutheran
Peace Lutheran Church at 7201 S. Highway 41, just 5 miles north of Dunnellon, is preparing to celebrate the season of Lent which leads to Easter.
This year Pastor McKee is using Luther’s Catechisms for the midweek and Holy Week theme.  The midweek services will be at 7 p.m., and each Wednesday service, will be preceded by a potluck meal at 6:15 p.m.
The schedule is as follows:
• Feb. 29:  This I Believe: The Apostles’ Creed, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8
• March 7:  Our Father Who Is in Heaven: The Lord’s Prayer, Matthew 6:9-13
• March 14:  The Washing of Regeneration: Holy Baptism, Matthew 28:18-20
• March 21:  We Are Forgiven: The Office of the Keys, John 20:19-23
• March 28:  We Eat a Holy Supper: The Sacrament of the Altar, Matthew 26:26-28
• April 5, Maundy Thursday:  On the Night When He Was Betrayed, 1 Corinthians 11:23-32
• April 6, Good Friday: It Is Finished, John 19:30
• April 8,  Easter Sunday:  Don’t Seek the Living Among the Dead, Luke 24:1-6.
