“The Thorn Easter Experience” at Lighthouse
   This year at Lighthouse Word Church the greatest story ever told comes to life with “The Thorn Easter Experience.” Through realistic videos, live dramas and beautiful music, attendees will experience the power and compassion of Jesus’ life, the pain of his crucifixion, and the triumph of his resurrection.  The Service will be held Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Lighthouse Word Church.
 The Lighthouse is excited to be able to invite everyone in the Tri-County Area to attend this unique program.  A free breakfast with pastries and breakfast casseroles will be served at 9:30 a.m.

Easter Sunrise Service
at Fort Fanning
   The Easter Sunrise Service at Fort Fanning Park will be Sunday at 7 a.m. The community service is hosted by Fanning Springs Community Church, Joppa Baptist Church, Pricilla Baptist Church, and Vintage Faith Church. The song and message is at 7 a.m. followed by a free breakfast fellowship at Joppa Baptist Church.
   Fort Fanning is located just before the bridge on the east side of U.S. Highway 19 in Fanning Springs. Joppa Baptist Church is located at 7530 N.W. 165th St., Fanning Springs. Call 352-463-2602 for more information.

Turning Point Holy Week activities
   Join your friends during Holy Week at Turning Point Ministries for the following services:
   Maundy Thursday, today, at 7 p.m., "Passover to Communion:A commemoration of Past and Present." Learn how the story of Easter begins in the Old Testament and continues on.
Easter, Sunday, Sun-Rise Service at 7 a.m., complimentary continental breakfast to follow; learning hour and fellowship, 9 a.m.; worship, 10:14 a.m. with an Easter egg hunt to follow.

St. Alban's Palm Sunday,
Easter Services
   St. Alban's Episcopal Church services for Easter are:
• Sunday, Palm Sunday services at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.;
• Today, Maundy Thursday service (foot washing), 6 p.m.
• Friday, Good Friday services at noon and 6 p.m.; and
• Sunday,  Easter services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with luncheon following the 10:30 service.
   The church is four miles north of the Chiefland Walmart on U.S. Highway 19.
The public is invited to attend.

Hardeetown Baptist Easter service
   Hardeetown Baptist Church of Chiefland will hold Easter service at 7 a.m. Sunday, on the lawn. This is the church's second annual “on the lawn” celebration.
   The public is invited to celebrate the rebirth of Jesus Christ.
   A buffet-style breakfast will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.

Community Easter service
   The Chiefland Ministerial Association will sponsor a Community Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. on the steps of First United Methodiat Church of Chiefland.
Breakfast will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.
   All are welcome to experience the glory of the risen Lord.
                    Bronson UMC hosts
Easter sunrise play
   Bronson United Methodist Church invites the public to an Easter presentation, “Just as He Said,” on Sunday, at 6 a.m.  Following the service, breakfast will be served in the fellowship hall.     This Easter drama will also be  presented on Saturday, April 7.
