CHS Student Government

-A A +A

On Oct. 2, Chiefland High School Student Government attended the District II Florida Association of Student Councils meeting. It was held at the Reitz Union on the University of Florida campus that was hosted by Gainesville High School and St. Francis Catholic High School.  The students attended business meetings, listened to motivational speakers, were split into groups to attend leadership workshops and ended the day with a scavenger hunt across campus.  They also participated in the voting for the location of the 2014 FASC State Convention.  It was a great experience for Student Government members.  As a result of the meeting, SGA members met new people, and gained new ideas to help better the school and community.
