Bronson suffers tough loss at Trenton

Eagles host rival Branford on Oct. 12

Even with a rough start that delayed the game, stormy weather and a depressing score at halftime for the Bronson Eagles, the team fought hard the entire game in their 61-6 loss to Trenton on Oct. 5.
As the loss adds to Bronson’s record, the team returns to practice and prepares for the next game at home against rival Branford.
The word perseverance describes this Bronson Eagles football team to a fine point.
Despite the homecoming game loss a week earlier to Legacy Charter and the loss of three players due to serious injury, the Eagles showed up on the Trenton Tigers’ field with players and cheerleaders wearing pink, along with some of the players from Trenton, to show support for breast cancer awareness. Pink and all, the Eagles showed up ready to play. The six points they scored does little to describe the amount of effort and sweat that poured from the players; though the small numbers leave plenty of room for improvement.
The Eagles take the score not as an insult but as motivation to put the result into a goal to have the six points in a winning situation versus the six points in a losing fight.
