Photo provided Milly came to Levy County Animal Services on June 21 hoping for a second chance at a new home. This smokey calico is healthy, just 2 years old and her front paws are declawed.  Her eyes sparkle and shine when you visit with her, and she is bright and responsive to affection.  They almost go beyond the “Please take me home” to “I will make it worth your while.” She wants you to know she is a good girl, and will add grace and charm to your life and home.  She speaks cat with her eyes; and, you will surely bring out her inner purr.   Levy County Animal Services is at 12055 N.E. 69th Lane, Bronson. Phone 352-486-5138. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adoption fees:   dog male, $40; dog female, $55; cats male, $25; and cats female, $40. Fees reduced if the pet is already spayed or neutered. Rabies, microchipping, spay or neuter included in adoption fees. – Submitted by Barbara Snow, U.S. War Dogs Assn. CH 2 Bronson.

Abe is a male bulldog mix, blue and white in color.  Blue is one of the rarest among dog coat colors.  At four years of age, Abe is settled with good behavior patterns observed since he came into the shelter from Bronson on April 28. In the two months he has been at Animal Services, Abe is always happy to see visitors and caretakers when they pass through his kennel area and he will be happy to see you too.   This handsome and noble dog will enjoy a walk with you, TV in your family room, and bring much comfort and contentment in your life.  Abe needs a home and family to love; and, he hopes you will need him too.
