Ameris Health Systems President and Chief Operating Officer K. Robert Bauer Jr. and Tri-County Hospital President Frank Schupp showed a group of people the first architect's rendering of the hospital on Feb. 22.

The victory evened the Lady Indians record at 1-1 and moved the district record record to 1-0. Newberry fell to 0-2.

The Lady Indians were far from mid-season form, as errors still plaqued Weatherford's team, but they had enough to hang on.
