Cooks can get a break at CHS pie auction
Cooking Thanksgiving dinner is stressful enough without having to worry about baking a dessert as well.
So take the easy way out and buy dessert at the Chiefland High School pie auction. The city’s best cooks contribute their signature sweets to the sale.
The doors to the school cafeteria open at 5:30 for a preview. Bidding starts at 6 p.m. County Commissioner Chad Johnson, a professional auctioneer, will do the honors.
