Bronson man charged with Dixie County burglaries

Rodney Charles “Stump” Kirkland, 20, of Bronson was arrested at his residence on Thursday, Oct. 24, on two Dixie County warrants charging him with three counts of armed burglary and grand theft.

Archer men face drug charges

Two Archer men who made a deal to sell cocaine and a shotgun to a drug task force informant tried the old bait-and-switch routine using crack cocaine and no gun, but they were still arrested on a variety of drug charges Wednesday, Oct. 24, by the Levy County Joint Drug Task Force, according to a Sheriff's Office press release

Two arrested on drug charges in Raleigh area

Julian Christopher Howard, 32, and Arnett Clarence Bryant Jr., 30, both of Archer, were arrested in the Raleigh area of Levy County on Thursday by the Levy County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force on drug charges in an investigation that began in February.

Levy County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force started the investigation with Howard, considered a mid-level drug dealer who is is known to sell crack cocaine, powder cocaine and marijuana.
