    The Levy County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force arrested five people— four of them on drug charges —  when they executed a drug search warrant Jan. 19  at Northwest 30th Street, Chiefland, according to a Sheriff's Office press release. 

 The following persons were sentenced, found not guilty or the case nolle pros — dropped — in the Criminal Division of the 8th Circuit Court in Levy County. The information is taken from public records.

 The Levy County Sheriff’s Office reports the following arrests and jail bookings:

    A property owner who surprised two men attempting to carry off his deer feeder and tree stand stopped them by firing his rifle into the ground, according to a Levy County Sheriff's Office press release.
