Marshall Mick Myrick Jr., 21, of Williston, was arrested for introduction of contraband while coming into booking for the Levy County Jail, according to a sheriff's office press release. Myrick was being booked on a charge of driving with a revoked or suspended license when he was searched at the jail. A deputy recovered four Tylenol3 pills and five Flexeril orange pills in his possession.

Chiefland Police are still looking for a woman they believe to have been involved in a scuffle Sunday night that left several people battered and bruised.
According to a CPD incident report, Vickie Donald, 40, of Chiefland, pulled in to Prairie Oaks Apartments Sunday night enraged over allegations that her daughter had been beaten in a fight earlier that day by someone living in the apartment complex.

Charles David Keene, 52, of Archer, was arrested after Levy County Sheriff's deputies answered a domestic disturbance call on May 9 at University Oaks subdivision, according to a  Sheriff's Office press release.
An adult female told a deputy that Keene had been drinking and when he came home they got into a verbal argument. She said Keene picked up a children's bicycle and attempted to throw it at her,  but it missed and instead struck a child, 3,  knocking the child to the ground.

The following persons were sentenced, found not guilty or the case nolle pros — dropped — in the Criminal Division of the 8th Circuit Court in Levy County. The information is taken from public records. VOP means violation of probation.
n Jorge Escobedo Alonso, driving without a license, 60 days with credit for 60 days served; resisting an officer with violence, nolle pros. Must pay civil judgment.
