  • Indians play for regional title 7 p.m Friday

The Chiefland Indians boys basketball team defeated the Wildwood Wildcats 78-60 on Tuesday night before a standing room only crowd.

It was a hotly contested game that ended pretty calmly with a surprise move as the team ran out the last minute of the clock. An Indians player at mid-court got the ball and simply stood still for the last 7 seconds frustrating any chance of the Wildwood team making points.

The Indians will face the Crescent City Raiders on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Chiefland Middle High School Gym. Tickets for the game are $7.
