Elections

  • DeHaven to run for school board

My name is Marissa (Haldeman) DeHaven, and I would like to take this opportunity to announce my candidacy for Levy County School Board, District 2.  I am a life-long resident of Levy County.  I reside in Cedar Key with my husband, Mark, and our four children; Micah, 5, and Maya, Max and Marina, our 2-year-old triplets.

  • Cino to run for county commission

The future is now. My fellow citizens and neighbors of Levy County, these are some hard times for our country, state and our county. Unemployment has crippled our families. The lack of foresight threatens our ability to provide services while keeping taxes low. Our water must be kept clean and in good supply to meet our needs, now and in the future. It is not a question of how we accomplish these tasks — we already know how. It is a question of who can get this accomplished.

  • Meeks announces for county commission

Citizens and friends of Levy County, my name is John Meeks and I wish to represent you as your next District 1 County Commissioner.  After a lot of prayer and discussion with my immediate family I decided to pursue my lifelong goal to represent the people of Levy County.

  • Ward announces for Supervisor of Elections

  • Hodge announces for school board

  • Baker to run for school board

My name is Avery Baker, and I am campaigning for the School Board of Levy County, District 2 seat.  I have lived in Levy County for over 25 years and I feel I have the appropriate qualities and experience to be an effective school board member and to govern with the best interest of the students and employees of the Levy County schools in mind.

  • Lee Sullivan candidate for Levy sheriff

My name is Lee Sullivan, I started my law enforcement career in Levy County where I grew up and graduated from Chiefland High School and I hope to complete my career as Levy County sheriff.

  • Browning running for county judge

To all my Levy County friends and family:

  • Desmond running for sheriff

My name is Noel Desmond and I am a candidate for the Levy County Sheriff. Everyone would like to see a positive, upbeat campaign from candidates but a candidate must also be truthful to the voting public. With that thought in mind, allow me to say, I have been a Levy County resident for the past 32 years.
In that time I have seen four hold this sheriff’s seat. None of them have honored the true nature of that post. Drastic changes are needed in the way our Sheriff's Department conducts itself and its operations!

  • Quincey announces for school post

My name is Kyle Quincey, and I am campaigning for the District 2 seat on the Levy County School Board.  I believe that I have the unique blend of education, experience, and investment that make me a highly qualified candidate to serve on our School Board.
