    Radio stations serving the Tri-County Area — WLQH 93.3 FM and 940 AM in Chiefland and WZCC 1240 AM in Cross City — changed their broadcast format on Saturday, June 28 and will launch a new website, according to an announcement by the station's management.

    The Greater Chiefland Area Chamber of Commerce saw several new faces at its monthly meeting Friday, May 23.

    The Chiefland Walmart celebrated its 25th year in business May 2, as well as the handful of employees who have been there since the beginning.

  • Haven welcomes new CFO

    Haven Hospice welcomes Catherine Mitchell as the new vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for Haven Hospice.  

    As a key member of the Haven Hospice Executive Leadership Team, Mitchell assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the company and will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related-activities.
