    Keanu Randall Becker, 11, of Bronson died May 8, 2012.
    He was born Oct. 2, 2000, in Gainesville to Brent and Jenny Becker.
    He was raised in Bronson.
     He was a fifth grade student at Bronson Elementary School, was an Honor Roll Student, on the Safety Patrol and he had perfect attendance.

    Edward Thomas Armitage, 78, of Williston, died May 6, 2012.
    He was born Aug. 17, 1933, in Colrain, Mass.
     He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a Purple Heart recipient.

    Jennie Swilley Duncan, 94, died Friday, April 27, 2012. She was born to Reezin Frank Swilley and Julia Harley Horne May 10, 1917, in the Janney Precinct of Levy County and resided in that area until 1944, when she moved to Marion County, where she resided until her death.
    She was a member of the Northside Missionary Baptist Church in Ocala and served her church in many capacities over the years.

    Lillie Pearl Beard, 82, died Monday, April 9, 2012, at her home in Morriston.
     She was born  May 27, 1929, to Perry and Inez Ross in Selma, Ala. She moved to this area 18 years ago from Jacksonville. She worked as a teacher’s assistant and belonged to the Red Hat Society. She loved to read, knit and crochet in her spare time. She was a member of Morriston Baptist Church.

    Thelma Ann Bretzlaff, 75, of Old Town, died Monday, April 2, 2012, at North Florida Regional Medical Center.  
    Born in Leesburg, she moved to Old Town from Orlando 17 years ago.  She was a server at Gail’s Café in Old Town and a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Old Town Chapter. She attended Suwannee River Baptist Church.

    He was born on Nov. 10, 1935, in Ocala, to Woodroe and Veola (Stevens) Fugate.

    Mitchell O’Berem, 59, of Williston, died April 16, 2012, at his residence. Mr. O’Berem was born on Jan. 13, 1953. in Highland Park, Ill., to Dale and Barbara O’Berem. 

    He moved to Williston from Ocala seven years ago. He was a route salesman for Frito-Lay.  Mr. O’Berem was of Catholic faith and attended Holy Family Catholic Church.  He enjoyed golfing, boating, cruising, and traveling.

    Rachael Valeria Ammons, 70, of Trenton, died Sunday, April 1, 2012.
    She moved to Trenton in October of 1999 from Palm Harbor.  She worked for the Florida Council of the Blind in Pinellas County for 13 years as a clerk in the concession store located at the Pinellas County Courthouse.  She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Largo Chapter, and was a member of the New Beginnings Church.  She enjoyed raising rabbits, flower gardening and attending auctions.

    Joseph Paul LeBlond, 51 of Inglis, died March 27, 2012, at Citrus Hospice House in Lecanto, as the result of an automobile accident.

    He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; daughters, Jasmine Eleanor and Shawna Colling (Mark); sons, Cody Sherrod, Joey Jenkins, Dylan and Alex; sisters, Patti DiMaio (Nick) and Shelley Davis (John).

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Cyprien and Eleanor Elizabeth LeBlond.
