  • For many, now is the time to be out of doors planting and gardening and enjoying the fruits of their labor and of Mother Nature’s.

  •  Mary Read and Michelle Traylor, who are retiring from the Levy County Public Library System, were honored by the Levy County Commission at its meeting on Tuesday.

    Read kept the Williston library open on Tuesdays, as a volunteer, for over 25 years. This is her second retirement — having retired as a public school teacher in Levy County. “This has been a true labor of love and a rare dedication to service,” said County Libraries Director Lisa Brasher.
