The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, June 9, at the Levy County Quilt Museum.    Quilting was done on the Log Cabin Quilt in the frame.   We have more quilt tops to be done but in the summer everyone has much to do at home.
We’ve had more fruits and vegetables to be brought in.   All this takes time to can or freeze and we very much appreciate everything that comes in.

  • City of Chiefland employee Candy Pipkins, left, receives a pin from City Manager Grady Hartzog Monday night for five years of service with the city. Pipkin is a staff assistant at City Hall who mainly works for the utility department. She also handles scheduling for the parks and recreation department and handles some of the city’s payroll.
