  • Revival report: Crusade for Christ wins 15 souls

    By Pastor Jim Hurst
Overall, the Tent Crusade Revival in Levy County was a wonderful success with 15 precious people making decisions for Jesus Christ.
We appreciate so much the four area churches who partnered with us to reach your city for Jesus. These churches provided excellent ministry on every level.  They also set new "time records" for putting up and taking down the big tent.

  • Consider the source

I recently read a story about a chief of the Sioux nation, a wise old man, who once lived in what is now the state of Minnesota.  It was during the Fall of the year that a group of young braves sought out his advice concerning the coming winter.
“O great chief,” they asked, “will the winter this year be a mild one or will it be very harsh with extreme frigid temperatures?”

  • City wide tent revival report

    By James Hurst
Congratulations  to participating churches of Levy --- you set a record this past Saturday. You took the big Crusades for Christ tent from the semi-trailer to a standing tent in a mere four hours. To the thirty of so people who were on site we offer a great big THANK YOU!  This coming Saturday (25th) we will meet again at 7:30 a.m. to install the chairs, platform, lighting, video/audio equipment and we will need you once again.

  • A place of refuge

While on the big island of Hawaii, Linda, J.R., and I chanced to come across a site known as, The Place of Refuge.  The object of war, in those days before the missionaries came to their island, was to exterminate the enemy, which included anyone who belonged to the opposing side.  Those too old, too young, or those unable to fight could find safety in the sanctuary.  Defeated warriors also came to the “pu’uhonua,” where they could wait in safety until the battle was over.  Their allegiance would then be to the victor.
