When the Sawgrass Club of Cedar Key heard that the Rosewood Baptist Church was in need of food to help a few families though rough times the members knew they could help.
It was not much, a few cans here and a couple boxes of cereal there, built into two boxes of food. SawGrass also donated $50. Representatives of the church said this would help several families.

The delta fields had exploded in white like huge bags of popcorn nuked in the September heat. Everywhere, thick tufts of cotton burst forth from the bolls that had once concealed their glory. It was harvest time.

Bronson United Methodist Church holds its annual Christmas Bazaar No. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A lunch, for $6, will be served.
