Family Bible hosts concert
Family Bible Chapel will host a concert by Homeward Bound on Sunday, July 1, at 10:30 a.m. This grass roots Southern Gospel ensemble features local artists performing a selection of traditional tunes.
Everyone is invited to join the patriotic celebration of our national and spiritual freedom. After the concert hamburgers and hot dogs will be served in an indoor picnic. There is no charge for this event; however, an offering will be received for Homeward Bound.
Just recently I was talking with one of my church members and she said, “I know I am so blessed. I know I am.”
What she was talking about was the fact that she had raised four healthy children, who are each a credit to the world. She was surrounded by most of them at a family function and the sheer size and number of the group was humbling.
The Kidzone Children’s Ministry at Lighthouse Word Church kicked off its Celebration Summer program. The events include music, drama, dance on Sunday, June 10.
There were two bounce houses, train rides, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones.
Each Sunday at 10:30 am throughout the summer will be packed with fun and rewards for those who bring their friends. All children from kindergarten through 5th grade are invited, and classes for toddlers and babies are also provided.
