    Students from Chiefland Middle High School will host a first-ever “Fields of Faith" on Wednesday, April 22, at 6 p.m. to share their Christian faith with fellow students. The interdenominational outreach event will be held at Wayne Pridgeon Football Stadium.

  • Potato pancake supper at Peace Lutheran Feb. 17

    Peace Lutheran Church will host its 24th annual Potato Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday, Feb. 17. Dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.

    Donations requested will be $6 for adults, $3 for children 5 through 11; there is no charge for children under the age of 5. Tickets will be available at the door . Tickets may also be purchased in advance from members, and at the Peace Lutheran booth at the Dunnellon First Saturday event on Feb. 7.

    Cookie walk at St. John the Evangelist's

       St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church's St Vincent de Paul Society will have a cookie walk on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

       All are invited to come in to choose a whole or half bag of homemade goodies and get all of your Christmas cookie needs taken care of in one place. There will be a wide assortment. The funds raised will be used to buy food for the food shelf.
