  • Chiefland Walking Club

The Walking Club is starting again. All interested in walking during the evening hours are welcome to come along. There are no gimmicks. We'll just be walking, enjoying good conversation and making new friends.

We will start walking at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and will meet at the Chiefland Skateboard Park.

The goal will be to walk two miles or as much as you can. If you don't want to walk, bring your bike and ride along with us. Remember, there is safety in walking together. Everyone is invited.

  • Canning workshops

Spring is just around the corner and your garden will soon be producing tons of vegetables and fruits.  Or you may want to take advantage of farmer’s markets, road-side stands or you-pick operations located nearby. Preserving some of that food for use later in the year will give you great taste and good nutrition and will also make memories for a lifetime.
