The next phase of the Great Suwannee River Cleanup sponsored by Current Problems Organization, will be Saturday Dec. 1, starting at 10 a.m.

Groups will deploy from three locations, Camp Azalea/Yellow Jacket, Fowlers Bluff and the Town of Suwannee. 

The Levy ARC Thrift Store is having its annual Clean Sweep sale on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be lots of bargains. 

   The store will also be selling fish dinners for $6 each. The meal includes fried mullet, baked beans, cole slaw and hush puppies.

The Dixie County Historical Society will be hosting another evening of Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel music for your enjoyment on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the “Old” Old Town Elementary School Auditorium located at State Road 349 and County Road 55A. Big Cypress Bluegrass will be performing. The music will start at 6 p.m. and will finish when the music stops. Admission is free, so bring the family and enjoy.
