While White Ford is hosting the 2013 Fusion event this evening, the folks at the dealership would like to say they are doing a little re-investment in the business and residents can keep an eye out for good things.
Don Barrett, general manager, said the dealership that has been in business for 58 years, is also getting an upgrade from the founders, the White family, and has plans to move ahead.
The entire auto industry took a severe hit with the economic downturn in 2008. And while General Motors and Chrysler took the federal auto bailout money, Ford Motor Co. did not.
“We've struggled and we're still struggling, and we've turned the corner,” Barrett said.
“The Whites have invested a lot of money back into it and they want to keep it and maintain it.”
The Fusion event is part of the plans for moving ahead, Barrett said.
