Special to the Citizen
Anyone who owns or is thinking about starting a small business can utilize the services of the Small Business Development Center, but many people live too far from a full service office. Webinars are available to help business owners in rural areas get the information and assistance they need to start, grow and succeed.
On April 6, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the SBDC at the University of North Florida will offer "Steps to Starting A Business."
This live webinar will take participants through the seven basic steps of starting a business: selecting an idea, testing the market, acquiring capital, writing a plan, turning for help, understanding legal requirements and putting it all together.
To register or for more information call 800-450-4624 or log on to www.sbdc.unf.edu.
The cost is $20 per person and registration fees include a downloadable workbook and start-up kit for all Northeast Florida counties.
