Join the Withlacoochee Area Residents for their Second Saturday Concert Series.  The Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, 4150 S. Suncoast Blvd.,  Homosassa is the place to be Saturday, June 9, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  The Pepper Creek Terrace Room on the second floor of the visitor center will be the setting for the talented group at 2 p.m.
Pete Price, Pete Hennings and Mike Jurgensen, are a trio of talented musicians who blend their musical talents into an eclectic mix of material.  All three are talented songwriters and have performed solo as well as with other bands: Hennings and Price with Jon Semmes and the Florida Friends, and Jurgensen and Hennings with Myriad.
Along with the great music, there will be desserts and beverages for sale.  A donation of $10 is tax deductible, all to benefit the initiatives of W.A.R., Inc., to preserve and protect environmentally sensitive lands.
The next concert will be July 14 when ET Morris will open for Pamela Jo Hatley and Steele Olmstead and on Aug. 11, when Rod Sellars opens for the Florida Cracker Cowboys.  The Yankeetown-Inglis Woman’s Club on 56th Street, Yankeetown will be the venue for these two events.
