n American Legion installng officers
The American Legion Jamerson-Sheffield Post 91 wants to remind its members and those of the Auxiliary Unit 91 of the installation of officers and dinner on July 21.
The dinner is at 6 p.m. with the installation to follow. The Post needs the support of all it's members and those of the Auxiliary Unit. Jamerson-Sheffield was chartered in 1930 and it is the only veterans organization in Gilchrist County.
All members, their guests and prospective members are welcome to attend.
The Post is located at 4200 U.S. Highway 129 between Trenton and Bell next to the FFA arena.

U.S. Rep. Rich Nugent (R-District 5), sponsored an amendment that has been adopted as part of the FY2012 Defense Authorization bill that retroactively extends the qualification to obtain the Combat Action Badge, .
