UMC Chiefland has new pastor

   The Rev. Terry Wines is the new senior pastor for the First United Methodist Church of Chiefland, moving over from Shingle Creek United Methodist Church in Kissimmee. Wines was at Shingle Creek for six years.

   Wines, and his wife, Amelia, will be taking over while Pastor Bill Knight is on sabbatical and his wife, Terry Knight, moves to serve Ellzey United Methodist Church.

   The new pastor received his Master's of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Florida State University.

   The public is invited to join Pastor Wines for the 10:15 a.m. Sunday worship and to meet him and his wife.
