Students at Chiefland High School will wrap up their food drive of non-perishable food items, including canned goods, rice, pastas, cereals, etc. on Friday, Nov. 16.
Students have been collecting the donations since Nov. 8 in their fourth-period classes.
The BETA Club and Student Government Association are awarding community service hours for contributions (2 hours for 10 non-perishable items).
The class that brings in the most food will win a pizza party. Any local citizens that wish to contribute may drop donations by the front office at CHS.
