Protect your pets. I live in the area of Manatee Springs State Park where the woods are vast, and wildlife is abundant, despite the steamy summers and dry spells. It is not a place to let your pet roam free with little regard for its safety. Campers should be aware that your dogs are not familiar with the area. I have witnessed several non-resident dogs exploring the community in which I live.
