Work on demolishing the Suwannee River Livestock Show and Sale arena, better known as the Suwannee River Fair building, started this week. Dust flew as the huge claw grabbed the side of the quonzet style area area and pulled it down, along with the front plate that proclained the building's name. Work wll begin soon on a new building, being donated by Dixie County businessman Joe Anderson Jr., that is expected to be finished in time for the 2013 show and sale.
