-A A +A

Join in for a day of cycling to help support public education in Levy County on Saturday, April 19.

The event, begins at 8 a.m. at the Gathering Table, located in the Chiefland Shopping Center, on North Main Street/U.S. Highway 19.

Proceeds go to the Levy County Schools Foundation, which provides money for classroom needs not met by public funding and scholarships for Levy County high school graduates.

The ride will be on the paved Nature Coast Trail and has options to cover up to a 48-mile course, with the option to ride farther on a peaceful, scenic, rural ride. Ride as little or as long as you would like into Dixie or Gilchrist Counties.

A free continental breakfast before and a free lunch after for the riders will be provided at the start/finish line until 1 p.m. There will also be stops along the way with water, sports drinks and snacks. There will be a free event T-shirt and a goodie bag for the first 100 registered entrees.
