State park to commemorate Civil War battle

OLUSTEE –The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park, Florida’s first state park, will host the 36th Annual Reenactment of the Battle of Olustee on Feb. 17-19, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Throughout the weekend, more than 2,000 demonstrators will present living history impressions of military and civilian life at the time of Florida’s largest Civil War battle.
