Each June for the past 10 years, the Chiefland Area Athletic Association has been the host of a State Tee-Ball Tournament at Strickland Park.

With time flying by, we?re now less than a month from the start of the 2008 event, which will be held June 12-16.

Incredibly, the CAAA still needs a main sponsor for the tourney, which draws up to 20 teams to Chiefland.

Other events around town have no problem with sponsorship. For example, area businesses seem to always be there for the high school football team or the FFA events.
