Spaghetti dinner helps the hungry

The St. Vincent de Paul Society at St John the Evangelist Church in Chiefland on U.S. Highway 27A is hosting a Valentine's Day spaghetti dinner on Saturday, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The menu includes salad, bread, and homemade pies for dessert. All are welcome.
The cost? A bag of groceries for the Society's food shelf. Canned goods, peanut butter, cereal and soups are always needed. If that is difficult or inconvenient, a cash donation is always appreciated.
