Hernando Southern Heritage Festival & Cracker Cattle Drive organizers will once again be driving cattle, riding the trail, and living the life of a “cowhunter”. The Drive is a two day trek (optional) through the woods and underbrush. Boots and hats are the traditional dress of the day. Entry Fee for the Cracker Cattle Drive: two day ride, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22-23, with campout, four meals included, $200 per adult and $150 per child 18 and under; one day ride, Saturday, Oct. 23, lunch included, $100 per adult, $75 per child 18 and under. Deadline for sign-up is Oct. 14.
