College of Central Florida recognized six students who completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program at the Levy Center on Tuesday, Aug. 30.
Receiving Certificates of Completion were DeJuan Crumedy, Bonnie Hill, Roy Mauthner, Benjamin Mikell, Bren Schultz and Arkeisha Smith.
The CNA program prepares students to work in the health care field as nursing assistants and to take and pass the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant exam. The program consists of 80 hours of classroom and lab training as well as 40 hours of clinical experience in a local health care facility. The students attended Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton for their clinical experience.
All classes, except clinical training, are held in Chiefland at the CF Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd. in Chiefland.
