Should County employees get a pay raise?

County employees have not received a pay raise for three years. Giving full-time workers a 3 percent pay increase would cost $332,000. The County Commission has agreed to cover the cost of an 11.8 percent hike in employee health insurance for the womrers and their families.

County employees pay raise

yes they should get a raise...they haven't gotten one in 3 years...especially the transit drivers who risk their lives everyday with all the miles they drive to transport our needy elderly etc...to appts they really need...they make peanuts at this point...i know this because my husband is one of the drivers!
