The Levy County Sheriff's Office reports the following arrests:
Hugo Pinto-Moreira, 29, Northwest 135th Street, Chiefland, is charged with sexual battery, aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and resisting arrest without violence on August 3. According to the report, Pinto's ex-girlfriend, who is pregnant, gave him a lift to the store and his home. While at the home, Pinto burned the woman twice on the arm while asking her for sex and when she refused he took her to the bedroom and attacked her several times, the report said. When officers went to arrest Pinto they found him in a sleeping bag in the middle of a pile of yard debris and trash on a dumpster trailer in his yard. Bond is $55,000.
Three people have been charged in connection with a break in at the concession stand at Bronson Sports Park on August 1. Charged with felony burglary and possession of burglary tools are Thomas C. Delaino, 20; Dakota Wilson, 16, and Cody Bolesta, 17, all of Oak Street, Bronson. Bond for Delaino is $2,000 and he must maintain a 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew,
