BRONSON - The following persons were arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office. All persons are innocent until found guilty in a court of law. All of the information is taken from Levy County Sheriff's Office arrest reports and First Appearance Orders for the 8th Judicial Circuit.
John R. Cole, 37, Northeast 128th Terrace, Bronson, charged with burglary and criminal mischief of less than $1,000 value. The deputy's report says there was a break-in at the Levy County Landfill on September 6 at about 4 p.m. The door to the scale house and a security camera were broken, and the animal control office and security systems were damaged.
Deputies tracked shoe impressions from the scene to Cole's residence and after checking the surveillance video, identified the burglar as Cole. The report also says Cole confessed to the break-in. Bond is $20,000.
