On June 22, Deputy Gary Brewer responded to 119 Mongo St., Bronson, in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon his arrival Linda Thomas, 46, was arrested for domestic aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim reported to Deputy Brewer that a verbal domestic dispute occurred inside the residence and the victim walked outside. Thomas followed the victim armed with a 12 inch kitchen knife waving the knife in a threatening manner.
During the argument Thomas grabbed the victim's necklace and pulled the victim towards her. A struggle ensued and Thomas cut her finger with the knife and the victim ran back inside the residence.
Thomas followed the victim inside the residence still armed with the knife. When the victim threatened to call 9-1-1 Thomas left the bedroom. Immediately after Thomas left the bedroom the victim shut the door and called 9-1-1. While the victim was on the phone with 9-1-1 operators Thomas attempted to gain entry in the bedroom still armed with the knife. Thomas was arrested and transported to the Levy County jail.
