The Levy County Public Safety & Hurricane Preparedness Expo, sponsored by the Levy County Department of Public Safety, will be Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Williston Airport. Admission is free.
There will be demonstrations of vehicle extrications using the Jaws of Life and working dogs for Search and Rescue and the Sheriffs’ Office.
Displays will include ambulances, fire trucks, helicopters, hazardous materials equipment, police cars, a medical simulator lab and forestry equipment from several counties.
There will be booths from organizations — each providing those in attendance with valuable information to keep you and your family safe.
Children won't be bored with activities geared towards them, including a bounce house.
